Dress With an Edge
It’s time to take out that electric guitar and rock out to the beat of the rocker dress. Lady Gaga and Rihanna have taken over mainstream fashion with their studded belts, edgy zippers, and metallic minis, making stores sell out of these trendy rocker fashions. Whether it is a senior trip or a hot night on the LA strip, the rocker wear is the way to go.
For a warm night in Cabo, go with a romantic red dress. Since summer hasn’t fully bloomed, we are still technically in spring. Those floral patterns are still in full bloom and won’t wilt until the end of summer. Don’t be afraid to pair a floral dress with a studded belt. This is a great way to edge up a pretty pattern.
The metallic mini will keep all eyes on you. Metallic shades are taking over and putting a shine on your serious style. Pair a metallic mini with a black zipper belt, or some rocking heels. But beware on over-dooing it with this little number. Try not to pair too much jewelry with a metallic dress. Since the dress is already a bold and rather shiny statement, adding shiny jewelry can kill your outfit. Tread lightly on the accessories.
The Kardashian sisters are bringing back that little black dress. Little black dresses can stand out among the others with a zipper embellishment or a chain necklace. For a more casual appearance, pair the black dress with a pair of leggings to have a more conservative look.
A dress trimmed with studs is a rapidly growing trend. But when we think of studs and chains, we normally think of darker colors. Change it up with lighter colored dresses covered in studs. Many stores also have dresses with the duo of studs and zippers, leaving your outfit sinfully sweet.
Pretty soon, Lady Gaga will be calling you up to see where you are getting your styles! Make the world jealous with your little fashion forward rocker dress.

Summer Shoes to Choose
Summer fever always leads to summer romance…with shoes of course! Summer sun and more frequent beach trips can only mean that now is the time to add to that shoe collection. This is the one season of the year where you need to dress your feet with the cutest styles to beat out any possible competition.
If you are going to the beach to soak up some rays, choose the obvious sandal. The “gladiator look” is carrying over from last summer to now, looking a little less Spartan and more new age. Steve Madden is a more expensive brand to purchase from, but they carry the best in-style gladiator sandals that will keep you looking fashion savvy this summer.
When its time to go to school for a final, or simply grab a smoothie with a friend, choose a shoe that is more comfortable. The flat is a great shoe that is easy for the road and will keep your feet looking hot with a sizzle. Forever 21 has some affordable Indian-inspired flats that come in great earthy colors. Instead of choosing a basic black or white flat, be a little BoHo and go with a brown color.
The wedge shoe is back and ready to be paired from anything to a cute pair of shorts to a flowy summer dress. The wedge is not only comfortable with the extra support from the ball of your foot to the heel, but it also it a great way to dress up an outfit. If you are attending a day wedding, it probably would be best to not wear a harsh heel or a mellow flat. The wedge is the pourage that is just right for any Goldielocks. Charlotte Russe has many wedges to style those feet and still have money left over for a new bathing suit.
And last but not least, for those hot summer nights, wearing a colorful pump is the best choice you can make. Bakers has some hot pumps in many different colors. Peach and turquoise are the colors of the season, enhanced by a pretty shade of metallic.
Make sure that when picking the perfect shoe for you to be sure to also paint those toenails. There is nothing worse than seeing a pair of feet dressed in a great shoe, but tainted with neglected toenails.
So now you have the low-down on the cutest shoes to wear to make your summer hotter than it’s ever been before!
